So... what is Muskegon Rockstock anyways?
Well... Muskegon Rockstock is many things to many different people.
First and foremost it's a huge party complete with live music, food and drinks. Its a place to spend the day with your friends and family, in a beautiful park on... what we hope, will be a beautiful day.
For the musicians, its a outdoor venue where they can reach out to new genre's of people who are not always allowed into a bar scene. Their kids can come see them play. New venue owners and talent people can check out their originals rather than the 'covers' they are so often required to play. It's also a way for them to say Thank You to the community that supports them year round. So for them, its a once a year event that so very many bands are eager to be a part of.
For music lovers, its a feast of fresh, new, live music that they are a huge part of. Without music lovers, there would be no music. When music lovers team up and support their favorite band.... well, thats when the magic happens.
